Psychiatric Consultation & Treatment
I perform psychiatric evaluation and treatment for individuals between the ages of 18 and 64. This includes diagnosis, medication prescribing, and some counseling for all major psychiatric diagnostic categories. At times I may request that patients have blood drawn for laboratory tests to monitor potential side effects to some medications.

Chart Review
I do intensive chart review for legal consultation.

Supervision
I'm available to consult with prescribers who want another point of view.

Before Your First Session
Please complete your patient enrollment packet prior to your first appointment. It is available for download from this website on the "forms" page. You should also contact your insurance company to find out if my services are covered either as a preferred provider or an out-of-network provider. I currently am covered by both Premera, Regence, Cigna and Aetna insurance.

What to Expect
Your first session with me will be a diagnostic interview lasting 60-90 minutes. During this time you will share with me the history of your problem and the results of any previous treatment. Together we will identify your target symptoms and generate a treatment plan. If indicated I will prescribe medications and laboratory testing for you. I may also request records from any previous mental health treatment. I will want to see you for follow up appointments once monthly for the next 3-6 months or until your symptoms are stable. At that point we will determine a mutually agreeable schedule of follow up appointments.
